New investment in customer service for Carrs Tool Steel

Two new Kasto automatic saws have been installed that will speed up the cutting process and further reduce lead times to customers.

Carrs Operations Director Julie Shields says “to some extent the new saws are replacing older models that are being retired but mainly they are addressing identified pinch-points in the process route. Being automatic, they will be able to continue cutting when the warehouse is unmanned thus increasing productivity.”
