ABOUT THE COMPANY

Richard W Carr & Co Ltd was originally founded in 1902 specialising in the manufacture and distribution of tool steel both in the UK and to world markets. Carrs Tool Steels Ltd was established in 1992 as the result of a Management Buy Out.

Carrs Tool Steels Ltd rapidly outgrew itīs original home in Smethwick and moved to much larger premises in Tipton in 1996.
High levels of capital investment have been directed to enabling the business to react quickly to customer requirements so that most standard products can be delivered within 24 hours.
