SAFETY INFORMATION

Tool Steel, Aluminium and Copper Alloys

Handling
Gloves should be worn to avoid possible injuries from sharp edges and appropriate handling equipment should be available.

Usage
Appropriate material specifications should be selected depending on the application. If in doubt, expert advice should be sought. Selection of an inappropriate material and/or incorrect processing could lead to failure and a possible risk of injury.

COSHH Regulations 1999
Processing these materials may give rise to dust and/or fume containing substances that may present a health risk. Material data sheets give details of alloying elements and these should be considered in conjunction with current Guidance Notes EH40. Effective dust and fume extraction will normally remove any potential risk.

Safety Phrases S22 - do not breathe dust and S23 - do not breathe fumes.
