Handling
Gloves should be worn to avoid possible injuries from sharp edges and appropriate
handling equipment should be available.
Usage
Appropriate material specifications should be selected depending on the application. If in
doubt, expert advice should be sought. Selection of an inappropriate material and/or
incorrect processing could lead to failure and a possible risk of injury.
COSHH Regulations 1999
Processing these materials may give rise to dust and/or fume containing substances that
may present a health risk. Material data sheets give details of alloying elements and
these should be considered in conjunction with current Guidance Notes EH40. Effective dust
and fume extraction will normally remove any potential risk.
Risk Phrase R20 - Harmful by inhalation
Safety Phrases S22 - do not breathe dust and S23 - do not breathe fumes.
