Such has been the success of Carrs' new DC53 tool
steel from Daido, that we've capped it with some fancy new DC53
headgear!
In trial after trial, our customers have found
that this new cold work steel is increasing tool life by up to ten
times when compared with D2. It's also much easier to machine.
Forming new high strength steels is becoming quite
a headache for manufacturers but DC53 is also showing great
promise in this demanding area. |
