CHARACTERISTICS
Similar to Carrs P20 but with added Nickel to ensure consistent hardness through large sections. Easy to polish and readily machinable.
Colour Code: GREY/BLACK

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Use this quality for pressing and injection moulding tools where the section exceeds 400mm and where P20 would not provide consistent through hardness. Carrs P20N will give excellent results where a high polish and/or etch-graining is required.

HARDNESS
This material is delivered in the hardened condition ready for use. Hardness in the range 280/325 HB.

FINISHING
CARRS P20N is suitable for Hard Chrome Plating and for Nitriding.

Guarantee
This material carries the Carrs Guarantee against metallurgical defects.
