WELDING
For best results use special RoyAlloy welding electrodes. This will eliminate the risk of
galvanic corrosion arising from the use of dissimilar materials and avoid the development
of a heat affected zone with its associated risk of cracking.
HEAT TREATMENT
RoyAlloy is supplied in the prehardened condition at ~321 HB. RoyAlloy can be supplied at
higher or lower hardness values by request when it will still retain its free machining
characteristics. |
